There are several reasons why a worker may not be eligible to take an advance via Earned Wage Access (a.k.a., EWA or On-Demand Pay).
- The worker may have overdue advances from a previous pay period that need to be paid first before taking new advances.
- The worker has reached their maximum amount of allowed advances for their pay period.
- The worker has not accrued enough time during the pay period to take an advance due to one of the following reasons:
- They have already reached their pay period max without having accrued additional hours.
- The timekeeping file received did not include hours reported for the worker.
Branch is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Lead Bank, Member FDIC and Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, which are Branch’s bank partners. The name of the bank partner for your account is listed on the back of your debit card and can also be found in the Branch App under “Your Account Information”. FDIC insurance only applies to eligible accounts should the bank holding your funds fail. Branch Mastercard Debit Cards are issued by Evolve Bank & Trust or Lead Bank, Member FDIC, as applicable, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
