When is the cut-off for enrollment?

• The cutoff for enrollment will be December 31st of the calendar year you wish to begin using the service. 

Do I need to take any action to re-enroll?

• Enrollment will continue to remain active unless opted out.
• Please view the terms of your contract or reach out to our Account Manager for more information.

How and when are forms filed to State and Federal authorities? 

• Branch will facilitate the filing to State and Federal authorities as required, through our partner Zenwork.
• All 1099 forms will be distributed 1-2 business days after you submit your filing through our system, assuming information is valid.

How does Branch define the "Payor" for the 1099 forms? 

• During enrollment, you will provide the Payor information for Branch to use for filing.
• Your organization will be listed as the Payor on all 1099 forms.

Does Branch support quarterly IRS Payments?

• Branch does not currently handle quarterly IRS payments.

Does Branch support W-2 Forms?

• Branch does not handle W-2 tax forms.

Does Branch support W-9 Forms?

• Branch can collect W-9 information from your workers, but this requires a specific contract addendum. Please contact your account manager for more details. 

How is my organization billed for the 1099 service? 

• For billing specifics, please review your contract or reach out to your Account Manager for more information.

Branch is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Lead Bank, Member FDIC and Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, which are Branch’s bank partners. The name of the bank partner for your account is listed on the back of your debit card and can also be found in the Branch App under “Your Account Information”. FDIC insurance only applies to eligible accounts should the bank holding your funds fail. Branch Mastercard Debit Cards are issued by Evolve Bank & Trust or Lead Bank, Member FDIC, as applicable, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
