Direct deposit can be set up by a worker in two ways!
Setting up Direct Deposit in the Branch App
In the Branch app, workers can use the instructions below to complete a direct deposit form.
In the app, workers navigate to the Wallet tab → Tap on Add Funds
Select Direct deposit
Select “Pre-Filled Form”, then “Get Form To Share”
Worker selects the amount of their check that they would like direct deposited into their account
They can opt for the entire paycheck, a specific dollar amount from their paycheck, or a particular percentage from their paycheck
Worker signs the form using their finger and clicks “Continue”
If the worker would like to see a preview of their completed Direct Deposit Enrollment Form, they can tap “View Form”
Tap “Share Form” and choose “Send as Email” or “Share On Your Own”
If workers opt for “Send as Email”, they will need to enter the email address of their employer's payroll team or HR person, then tap “Submit”. A copy of the form will be sent to the provided address.
If workers choose “Share On Your Own”, they’ll have the ability to print, save, or send the form to another location based on their device's capabilities.
Admin receives a notification when a form has been submitted
Providing Branch Account & Routing Numbers to Organization
If the worker has an issue sending the direct deposit form in the Branch app, or doesn't see the option to choose the correct organization to send it to, they can always gather their account and routing numbers from the app to send directly to your organization.
- Navigate to the Wallet tab in the app.
- Tap “Add Funds”
- Tap "Direct Deposit"
- Tap "Enter Manually"
- There, workers will find their account and routing number, which they can securely share with a trusted resource.
Branch is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Lead Bank, Member FDIC and Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, which are Branch’s bank partners. The name of the bank partner for your account is listed on the back of your debit card and can also be found in the Branch App under “Your Account Information”. FDIC insurance only applies to eligible accounts should the bank holding your funds fail. Branch Mastercard Debit Cards are issued by Evolve Bank & Trust or Lead Bank, Member FDIC, as applicable, pursuant to a license from Mastercard and may be used everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
