Key points about minors utilizing Branch:

Minors are defined as individuals who are ages 14-17.

Minors receive a free bank account through Branch (just like accounts for adults).

Wages are direct deposited into their Branch account.

Account and Routing numbers are not visible to the minor in their Branch app.

Certain account information is only visible to employer for security.

Minors can use Earned Wage Access (a.k.a., EWA, Advances or On-Demand Pay) as long as this feature has been enabled for your Organization.

Important Sign-Up Info for Minors:
- To allow minor accounts for your organization, this setting must be enabled.
- Please contact your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager to enable EWA for minors at your organization.

When creating a minor account, an acceptable form of ID must be submitted. Acceptable forms of IDs minors may submit include:
- Student IDs
- Birth Certificates
- Social Security cards
- Drivers’ permits
- Use the "State ID" option during enrollment regardless of the document they are submitting.
- All requests for a new minor account are manually reviewed. This review process can take several business days to complete.
